Hyssington is a small rural village situated on the Shropshire/Powys border, surrounded by scenic countryside including the Corndon and Stiperstone Hills and the lovely Long Mynd Hill Range. Nearby is the attractive market town of Bishop's Castle, which is also situated in the outstanding natural beauty of the South West Shropshire Hills. This ancient town offers a weekly market and a good variety of shops, pubs and places to eat. Ideally placed for walking and touring the Welsh Marches and rural Shropshire, the fascinating medieval towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury are within easy reach for a day our. There are numerous nearby attractions including Powis Castle, the Severn Valley Railway and fantastic walking opportunities along Offa's Dyke and Shropshire Way.
