Balcombe self catering

Balcombe in West Sussex is a great place to head for a self catering short break or holiday... there is so much to see and do. Click here to find out more »
Balcombe is one of the quintessentially English villages that surround Haywards Heath. It is situated in the heart of the High Weald and has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village itself is well-served by a range of shops, a tea-room and a pub, The Cowdray, which uses local produce to create dishes such as ‘Slow-cooked Old Spot Pork Belly’ – well worth a visit. The National Trust cares for a number of attractions in the area, such as Nymans Garden and Wakehurst Place – a vast stately home, set in stunning grounds. There are plenty of walks to be taken in the Weald Valley and many opportunities to spot wild-life in it's natural habitat. To travel further afield you can catch a train; London is just three quarters of an hour away and the seaside entertainment of Brighton is less than half an hour.
