Set in the north of Kerry at the foot of the Seefin Mountain, the village of Glenbeigh is just eight miles from Killorglin. Situated against a backdrop of spectacular scenery, this lovely settlement offers numerous traditional inns and good restaurants as well as providing easy access to Rossbeigh Strand - a Blue Flag awarded beach stretching for over four miles. This lovely sandy spot is renowned for its safe swimming, adventure sports and paragliding, as well as excellent walks. In addition, the surrounding area boasts a wealth of activities which include fishing, horse-riding, golf and canoeing. Climbers and ramblers will enjoy the Coomasaharn horse-shoe mountain to the south, Seefin and Curra to the east and west and Slievemish to the north – all of which provide great walking opportunities and stunning views.
