Nestling peacefully in pretty countryside, Hemblington is a small hamlet situated in the heart of the Broads, eight miles from the fine historic city of Norwich and a short drive to the sandy beaches of the East Coast. An ideal location for those who want peace and quiet, yet with all the amenities of the area near at hand. Within four miles of the village, you can explore the miles of beautiful waterways, which weave their way through splendid countryside, either on foot on way marked trails, or by hiring a boat; do try South Walsham and Ranworth Broad or the very picturesque Water Gardens at Fairhaven. The villages of Acle, Brundall and Great Plumstead offer many traditional pubs for eating out.
