The Old Kings Head Description

The Old Kings Head, which was formerly an 18th century inn, is a delightful, spacious cottage that has had a full restoration in 2004 and now provides modern, comfortable accommodation to suit all families and couples. It is perfectly positioned in a quiet courtyard only 50 yards from the centre of the picturesque market town of Pickering and overlooking a tranquil churchyard. It has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and the wood burning stoves gives a welcoming, cosy feel to the property. It is in an ideal location for exploring the North York Moors with some excellent walking and cycle paths close by, including some challenging cycle tracks in the nearby Dalby forest, which is a great day out and has a Go Ape assault course, which is ideal for all ages to enjoy.
