The Moorings Description

The Moorings is a beautiful New England style lakeside lodge, situated on the edge of Spring Lake, which itself sits within the Cotswold Waterpark. All of the Moorings' lodges are painted in soft pastal shades and are offset along one edge of the lake. Their position ensures unrivalled views across the lake, and privacy when enjoying your own lakeside deck. Spring Lake is ideally suited to those who enjoy water sports, with waterskiing available. A health club is also available (subject to charge). A bar and brasserie is conveniently situated at the water's edge.ACCOMMODATIONInternally the properties are designed to make the most of their fantastic position.Entrance to small hallway with Cloakroom, including WC, Washbasin and Shower.Open plan Living and Dining Area, with suitable accommodation for six people. Fully fitted Kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer / dryer. French doors to private sun deck, which gives a wonderful view of the lake.UpstairsMaster bedroom with double bed, has a floor to ceiling window, again with a superb lakeside view to wake up to!Bedroom Two with standard double bedBedroom Three with twin bedsBathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasinOUTSIDEGuests can book water sport activities on the lake. Fishing is also available nearby. A children's play area is also provided. The village of South Cerney is within walking distance and provides three pubs, a general store, post office and several take-away food outlets. The Cotswold Gateway Centre is within a couple of minutes walk, and will give you an extensive source of tourist information and a superb café.Pets welcome. Today the Cotswold Water Park is Britain's largest water park, 50% larger than the Norfolk Broads, extending to over 40 square miles and includes: 133 lakes, 5 nature reserves, Country Parks with picnic and Barbecue sites, a Blue Flag bathing beach, an extensive network of footpaths, cycle ways and bridleways as well as extensive leisure and sporting activities.
