Barn Howe Description

One of several cottage style bungalows in the beautiful grounds of the former Priory Hotel, Barn Howe enjoys a peaceful setting and a lovely outlook towards Lake Windermere and her majestic fell range beyond. The cottage has shared lake access with the other cottages on the terrace enabling guests to enjoy a picnic at the waters edge or simply mess about in and on Windermere. Boats can be hired at Bowness Bay or Waterhead, Ambleside and a trip to Windermere simply wouldnt be complete without a cruise of the famous Lake Steamers. Having undergone a major refurbishment in recent months, Barn Howe has been beautifully transformed to make best use of the available space and offers excellent facilities for self catering guests, all in a modern style. Perfectly adequate for two, the cosy lounge area is ideal for snuggling up in the cooler months although that wonderful view is never far away and guests are sure to spend much of their time gazing out of the window.
