Set back from the road the property is reached via 9 external steps. A stone s throw away and you are in the village with its array of pubs including a bistro pub within 50 metres restaurants and attractions and a short stroll from the popular family attraction of Wookey Hole and the infamous witch of Wookey Hole. There are many lovely walks in the surrounding area and a 2 minute drive leads you into England s smallest city of Wells notable for its stunning architecture the finest of which can be seen in the cathedral and adjoining moated Bishop s Palace. The city boasts an array of individual boutique shops delis cafes pubs and restaurants. Street famous for its outlet shopping village and a Mecca for bargain hunters is also close by. A number of must see spots are within easy reach including Glastonbury with its Tor that can be seen from miles around the Abbey ruins Chalice Well and Gardens. Further afield but still in easy reach are the major attractions of Cheddar Gorge Bath Bristol and Longleat.
