CHARMING COTTAGE CLOSE TO THE SHORES OF LOCH LINNHE In a spectacular position with panoramic views over the loch to the mountains of Kingairloch beyond this charming semi-detached cottage is part of the original ferryhouse which is approximately 250 years old. With a fascinating historical background the ferryhouse has been sympathetically modernised to create a holiday home of unique character. The very picturesque village of Port Appin is an ideal base for exploring and Oban is within a 40 minute drive. Day trips can be enjoyed to Glencoe and Fort William or by taking the passenger ferry from Port Appin across to the island of Lismore. The village shop is 30 yards from the property and there are two restaurants nearby. Leisure facilities: cycle and boat hire can be arranged and other local activities include fishing horse-riding and hill walking. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over the bath. Lounge/diner: with multi-fuel stove (fuel can be purchased from the owner). Sun lounge. Kitchen: compact with fridge freezer washing machine and microwave. Outside: garden to the front and rear where a path leads down onto the beach. Amenities: bed linen and towels included. Electric charged at current rates. Please note the property does not have a TV.
