The nearby towns of Crewkerne and Chard offer great days out and boast a wide variety of shops interesting buildings and places to eat and drink. Nearby is the fascinating Thorncombe Nature Reserve and Thorncombe Village with a local community run shop church and village hall. Exercise enthusiasts can enjoy an excellent choice of walks which all pass very nearby.
