Set amongst the Blackdown Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the area forms a tranquil beautiful and relatively isolated landscape on the Devon and Somerset border. Steep ridges high plateaux valleys and springs create a stunning mosaic of countryside dotted with farms villages ancient features and historic houses perfect for walking and exploring. The historic cities of Exeter and Taunton are half an hour away offering many attractions shopping centres theatres and restaurants. Honiton is 8 miles away and is a mecca for antique hunters. You will also be a comfortable drive to the delightful resorts of Lyme Regis Seaton Sidmouth and Exmouth. For those who just want to relax why not stay closer to home and enjoy a good book or a glass of wine in the garden and watch the ducks and abundance of wildlife around the pond and take in the fantastic scenery.
