Just a short drive away, the unique village of Clovelly, where whitewashed cottages and inns stand on steep cobbled lanes winding down to an ancient fishing harbour, is a delight to explore. To the west lie the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac and King Arthur's legendary castle on the headland at Tintagel. Reputedly the oldest pub in England is 2 miles away and a shop is 1 miles.
