Shrewsbury (25 miles), the Iron Bridge Gorge Museum, the Acton Scot Working farm Museum and Walcot Hall's splendid arboretum are all easily accessible. Fishing is available 5 miles away, and Stokesay Castle, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, golf and Ludlow's racecourse are about 2 miles distant. Shops at Craven Arms 2 miles.
