Pickering is 3 miles where the North Yorkshire Steam Railway takes you to explore the North York Moors and 'Heartbeat' country. Castle Howard, Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Abbey are all within 15 miles. The coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby are about 20 miles away and all the year round attractions of York are 30 miles. The village pub and restaurant are within 200 yards. Nearest shop 3 miles.
