In a peaceful setting on the northern fringe of Salisbury Plain (with a good village inn within 200 yards), this restored detached cottage has a secluded south facing sloping garden, bordered by an unfenced shallow brook (toddlers beware!). It was built with extra large bricks to avoid an 18th century 'brick tax'! There is good cycling and walking on waymarked tracks and the towpath of the nearby Kennet and Avon Canal. Bath, Salisbury, Longleat and Stonehenge are all within 18 miles. Shop 1 mile.
