Boasting shared enjoyment of 8 acres of grounds with free trout fishing, they sit beside the 'Road to Skye', an excellent location affording easy access to a gloriously lovely area, steeped in history and offering a delightful blend of ancient castles, spectacular scenery and a wealth of outdoor pursuits.Just 3 miles away lie the mysterious and beautiful waters of Loch Ness where visitors can take a boat trip to the haunting ruins of Castle Urquhart, whilst at Inverness, the historic capital of the Highlands and only 7 miles distant, there are boat trips to spot the dophins in the Moray Firth visits to Cawdor Castle and the battlefield of Culloden Moor are a must. Fort Augustus (7 miles) is a most attractive village bisected by the Caledonian Canal and home to a fascinating flight of locks as well as restaurants, shops and a golf course. The West Coast is also well worth a visit Eileen Donan Castle, Plockton and Skye are all within easy reach. Clay pigeon shooting, kayking and even deer stalking are available locally and there is a good shop/post office and a pub serving food in Moriston, 2 miles.
