Many outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed nearby, including quad biking, off road driving, paintballing and clay pigeon shooting at an activity centre just 1 mile away, horse riding is also available. The attractive towns of Kendal (5 miles) and Kirkby Lonsdale (7 miles) boasts a range of amenities, and water sports and boat trips are within easy reach at Lake Windermere and Coniston Water. After an invigorating day's walking on the fells, visitors will find plenty of inns within a 5 mile radius offering good food and firesides to relax by. Shop/P.O. and pub 2 miles.
