Set in the grounds of the owners' home, it lies within easy reach of a host of places of interest. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells and Glastonbury are all nearby as are Castle Cary, an old and pretty town of honey coloured stone, and Street, with its Clarkes shopping village. National Trust properties at Stourhead and Montacute are a delight, and a beautiful walled garden at Hadspen, Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton and Sparkford Motor Museum are well worth a visit. Golf, tennis and swimming locally.
