Many public footpaths cross the farmland making it a paradise for walkers and bird watchers, and riding and coarse and fly fishing are available locally. The bustling village of Hemyock is 2 miles away, and the famous lace making town of Honiton, with its indoor swimming pool, street markets and abundance of antique shops is only 8 miles. The National Trust's 'Jurassic Coastline' recently given World Heritage Status by the United Nations, (on a par with the Grand Canyon and Great Barrier Reef) is just 14 miles away. Exmouth's sandy beach and elegant Sidmouth are both within 20 miles. Inn and choice of shops, 2 miles.
