Skilfully converted from a range of stone barns near the owners 18th century farmhouse, these comfortable cottages, each with its own south facing patio, offer an ideal base for exploring Devon's Heartland and neighbouring Dorset and Somerset. Many public footpaths cross the farmland making it a paradise for walkers and bird watchers, and riding and coarse and fly fishing are available locally. The bustling village of Hemyock is 2 miles away, and the famous lace making town of Honiton, with its indoor swimming pool, street markets and abundance of antique shops is only 8 miles. The National Trust's 'Jurassic Coastline' recently given World Heritage Status by the United Nations, (on a par with the Grand Canyon and Great Barrier Reef) is just 14 miles away. Exmouth's sandy beach and elegant Sidmouth are both within 20 miles. Inn and choice of shops, 2 miles.
