In the spectacular scenery of southern Snowdonia, with a Blue Flag beach, shops, pub and riding just a short stroll away, and hill walking towards Cader Idris literally on the doorstep, this former bakehouse is a perfect holiday base. The village's little steam railway crosses the Mawddach estuary (an RSPB reserve) to Barmouth's family fun, and sailing, windsurfing and fishing are enjoyed locally. Whitewater rafting is found at Bala (25 miles), Coed Y Brenin and Llanberis are close by and Dolgellau (5 miles) has cycle hire and golf.
