There is also a play area with sandpit, rope swings and slide, eggs to collect from the resident chickens and ponies and sheep to feed. Four poster beds, feature fireplaces with log burning stoves, beams and pretty furnishings all add to their charm. Visitors enjoy shared use of the facilities which include a new, luxurious indoor heated swimming pool, gym and games room, sauna and outdoor hot tub the ultimate for relaxation. Newcastle Emlyn, just 5 miles away, offers a sports centre, antique shops and interesting pubs and restaurants. Also within 5 miles visitors can enjoy horse riding and salmon fishing or watch the fascinating process of traditional cheesemaking, whilst the delightful market town of Cardigan, 10 miles away, boasts tennis, golf and cycle hire. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Ceredigion Heritage Coast, both 10 miles, offer various lovely beaches, including Poppit Beach and Mwnt, and spectacular coast and hill rambles are sure to delight walking enthusiasts. A little further afield, the quaint seaside town of New Quay offers boat trips to view Cardigan Bay's famous dolphins as well as for seal spotting and sea fishing. Three miles away, the evocative ruins of 13th century Cilgerran Castle (N.T.), inspiration for artists through the ages, stand overlooking the spectacular Teifi Gorge and a wide variety of attractions from Roman goldmines to the National Botanical Gardens and the thrills of family theme parks are all easily accessible and offer excellent days out.
