Woolacombe's superb surfing beach and the small sheltered sandy beach with rock pools at the pretty village of Lee are both within 3 miles. Ilfracombe boasts a new theatre, indoor swimming pool, picturesque harbour, fishing and pleasure boat trips along the dramatic coast and day excursions to Lundy. There are several renowned golf courses, tennis, riding and scuba diving all nearby and Exmoor National Park is just a short drive. The historic town of Barnstaple, with its pannier markets and award winning summer floral displays is just 10 miles away. Pubs, restaurants and shops 1 miles.
